From 6pm on Friday 2nd October AMPjam will be launching their ‘We’ve Been Framed’ pop culture art show in aid of Edward’s Trust, showcasing the art and artists here throughout a special evening at The Jointworks.
We’ve Been Framed is a quirky concept pop culture art show. Over 60 new artworks have been created for this show by leading movie poster artists from all over the world.
Every piece is inspired by both a movie or tv show and the ‘character’ pictureframe in which the artwork sits. The result is a cohesive one-off 3D display piece featuring a 2D original artwork.
It’s a concept that has to be seen to be comprehended!
The We’ve Been Framed Gallery will be available to see throughout the rest of October, entry after the launch is free, though we recommend a donation to Birmingham bereavement charity Edward’s Trust.
All of the We’ve Been Framed pieces will be auctioned online after the show. Pieces will be shipped when the 4-week display concludes, all profits go to Edward’s Trust.
About the charity
Edward’s Trust
Based in Birmingham and established in 1989, Edward’s Trust is a bereavement charity supporting parents, children and young people across the West Midlands. The charity’s service are currently at risk due to a funding gap, and the money raised by We’ve Been Framed will go towards its ‘Without Us’ emergency appeal.
