We've moved to Frederick Street!

Some exciting news from the Jointworks team…we’ve moved into a beautiful new building just around the corner on Frederick Street. 

A Grade II listed building, our new home is a perfect space for our current residents, frequent coworkers and newcomers, as well as for the Birmingham Design Festival Shop.

Why are we moving?

There are a couple of key reasons.

The first is that we’ve been looking for a space that fits more with our longer term goals for the Jointworks – to not only be a thriving coworking space for our creative community but also a flexible, popular and in-demand events space, which we believe our new home at 45 Frederick Street will help us to achieve.

And our future plans for the Jointworks will follow this same path – to find new and exciting ways to continue growing and supporting our creative community. The Jointworks isn’t a building – it’s a concept that is brought to life by our people, through different spaces. Our move is an iteration of this idea.  

The second reason, for full transparency, is driven by some complexities associated with the business and shareholders of the current building. These things happen, they’re part and parcel of being in business and sometimes with that comes change. So we’ve taken stock and reviewed what we feel is best for the Jointworks community moving forward, and we truly believe that adapting to this change and moving will do just that.
